Concrete, pavers and hardstands can handle high pressure. Roof tiles, render, cladding and painted surfaces cannot, and pushing high pressure onto them risks damage.
For those we use soft washing: suitable detergents applied at low pressure, then rinsed. It is how we approach roof cleaning and house washing in The Gap.
